Does the organisation have a climate policy or a formal commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions?
E.g. a written policy, a decarbonisation strategy, Net Zero / low-carbon targets.
Is a GHG inventory (at least Scopes 1 and 2) prepared at least once a year?
A clear methodology, a named owner, internal or external verification.
Are the main supply chain emissions (Scope 3) relevant to your activity identified and estimated?
E.g. transport, raw materials, waste, use of products, business travel.
Are there concrete emission reduction targets (quantified, with a deadline) approved by management?
Medium and long term targets, possibly validated through external initiatives (SBTi and similar).
Does the decarbonisation plan include clear actions (efficiency, electrification, renewable energy, process redesign)?
Prioritised measures, each with a budget, an owner and a delivery date.
Are climate risks and opportunities analysed in financial terms and built into strategic planning?
E.g. climate scenarios, impact on CAPEX/OPEX, discussion at board level.
Is progress on GHG emissions and climate targets monitored and reported regularly, internally and externally?
Indicators, reports, communication to interested parties (customers, banks, investors).
